Welcome to Little Acorns Bookstore

Established in 2011, Little Acorns Bookstore has an overall stock of over 85,000 books. From new to second-hand books, we stock up on books of all genres and subjects. We specialise in Irish-related subjects, authors and publishers. We also stock literary gifts, cards, pictures and selected stationery. Our collection includes literary postcards, films, postcards, CDs and cassettes. If you are looking for a funky shopping bag or hand-made cards for your loved one, we’ve got you covered. I loved the old building but the new one is even better but I don't be near were it is often as im from strabane.  I love it's bought new and old books and I love it has a scooby doo plushie inside. The owner made us feel so welcome with our dog, she was knowledgeable about the authors she stocks and about the city, which was brilliant. She has an excellent selection of books if you are keen to engage with Irish political history, or resistance movements elsewhere, we also saw a tempting amount poetry, irish literature and a great curated set of the classics in hardback. The children's book section is both immense and beautifully laid out, with a lovely sofa so you can spend time with your children picking books.
